Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Monday, January 21st, 2008As we in the U.S. observe a holiday in honor of Rev. King, I recall the night I stood a few feet from him and listened in awe.
As we in the U.S. observe a holiday in honor of Rev. King, I recall the night I stood a few feet from him and listened in awe.
As a teen-aged amateur radio operator (“ham”), I had call sign K3SGM in Maryland and W0HHG in Missouri. I had a rubber address stamp that read “Charles H. Sauer W0HHG”, and used the stamp routinely. When I used it to stamp my return address on an admissions application to M.I.T., the response was addressed to “Charles H. S. Wohhg”.
